Nikah photography in Houston
A Nikah can take place at a mosque, a banquet hall, a hotel or at home, and each setting needs a different approach. At a mosque, we agree positions in advance, dress modestly, and follow the rules of the prayer hall. During the ceremony we stay out of the way and use quiet shooting, so the focus stays on the vows. We photograph the moments your family will treasure: the signing of the Nikah papers, the witnesses, the first moments as husband and wife, and the duas that follow.

Walima photography and video
The Walima is often the biggest event of the wedding weekend, with hundreds of guests, a decorated stage and the couple's grand entrance. We photograph the décor before guests arrive, the entrance, stage photos with every family group, speeches, dinner and candid moments across the hall. Couple portraits that respect your comfort
Every couple has their own comfort level with posing, especially in front of family. We guide you with simple, modest directions and never push poses you are not comfortable with. Many of our couples choose a short portrait session outdoors before the Walima, at golden hour, for warm, cinematic photos away from the crowd.
Gender-separated events
Some families hold separate halls or areas for men and women. We discuss the arrangements in advance and plan coverage so every part of the event is photographed appropriately and respectfully.
Nikah videography and highlight films
A Nikah film lets you hear the khutbah, the vows and the duas again. We film with multiple cameras and professional audio, using lavalier microphones so every word is clear. What happens at a Nikah, and what we photograph
A Nikah is short, but every moment matters. We photograph the arrival of both families, the imam or officiant, the reading of the Khutbah, the signing of the Nikah Nama with the witnesses, the dua, the first moments as a married couple and the congratulations that follow. If the bride signs in a separate room, we arrange coverage with the family ahead of time so her moment is captured with care.
We keep a respectful distance during the religious part of the ceremony, use no flash unless the venue allows it, and follow the rules of every mosque we work in.
Walima and Valima reception coverage
The Walima is often the largest event of a Pakistani or Indian Muslim wedding. We cover the décor and stage before guests arrive, the couple's entrance, stage photos with family and friends, speeches, dinner and the send-off. Stage photos are organized group by group so the line keeps moving and every family is included.
Mehndi, Dholki and Baraat
Many families add a Mehndi, Mayun or Dholki night before the Nikah, and a Baraat on the wedding day. These events are full of color, dancing and music, and they make some of the most joyful photos and films. We can cover one event or every event of the wedding, and we plan the coverage with you so the style and color of every gallery match.
